Our crew houses respected industry veterans with extensive knowledge in their respective fields. Committed to Safety.
Rest assured, HAB Painting & Construction is fully licensed, bonded and Insured in accordance with all California Contractor State License Board (CCSLB) and California State business codes, laws, and regulations.
Each and everyone of our crew members are also extensively trained in their trades along with safety provisions to prevent any accidents and ensure smooth project completion.
Our 4-Phase Process
Integrity is at the forefront of our value system. We also believe simplicity is the best way to promote transparency and ensure clarity between HAB and our clients. Thus, we developed a 4-Phase process that aptly summarizes how we work.
Phase I
As soon as we receive notice of a potential project, we will contact you to schedule an in-person or virtual meeting with a representative to accurately assess the project details and workshop possible solutions.
Phase II
Once we’ve collected the necessary information and have clarified the project’s objectives, we will provide you with an itemized quote detailing the scope of work and provide potential timelines. Should the proposal be approved, we will follow up with a written contract that describes the agreed work and timeline outlined in the quote.
Phase III
After the contract has been signed by all parties, work will commence and scheduled payments will be issued according to the agreed upon conditions written in the contract.
Phase IV
Once the project has been completed, the client and Project Manager will walkthrough the site(s) to ensure satisfaction has been met.
Meet the staff
Hugo Bautista
Growing up, he always had a knack for artistic expression; whether in the form of expressive painting or ceramic sculpting, Hugo always imagined a career in the arts. He became a licensed painter, decorator, and contractor to help people actualize their dream homes while exercising his artistic creativity. Someone who welcomes challenges and a self-proclaimed “people person”, Hugo decided to start HAB Painting & Construction to broaden the scope of people he can reach with his vision. Now, he’s regarded as a juggernaut in his field having worked with hundreds of different clients in Southern California including the Apple TV + production team, the LA Halloween Haunted Hayride, and myriad celebrities (shh!). He’s committed to fostering relationships with clients and personnel alike. It’s no wonder he’s regarded as “work dad” by most crew members. In his spare time, Hugo enjoys staying physically active with his wife. Hiking, playing soccer, visiting museums, and attending church are among many of his different hobbies.
Jason Bautista
Earning dual degrees in Communication Studies and Business Administration from Sacramento State University, Jason has contributed greatly to HAB’s success. His invaluable experience in sales, problem-solving, and fieldwork has expanded the scope of HAB’s services and communications systems. As Hugo’s first-born son, Jason not only aims to contribute to the family business’ success, but follow in his father’s footsteps as well. When he isn’t on the clock, Jason enjoys playing soccer with his friends, catching a live sporting event, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Hugo Bautista-Lopez (Jr.)
Hugo Jr. serves as the Administrative Director at HAB Painting and Construction. Almost always serving as the first point of contact, Hugo Jr. plans, organizes, and coordinates all internal operations of the business. Having earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge and a subsequent master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University, Hugo decided to take time off school and gain occupational experience in the family business before pursuing a doctoral degree. His extensive experience in social research has proven to be an added asset to HAB, making improvements to our operations resulting in an increase in sales, productivity, and client/personnel satisfaction. Hugo’s hobbies include reading, running, and traveling.
